Today's business people all have questions about how to use AI to succeed.
Dr. Thanwa Aporntip, Senior Tech Advisor of SCB 10X, invited Dr. Apiwadi Piyathamrong, Senior Researcher, NECTEC, Mr. Thachakorn Wachimon, CEO of Sertis, and Dr. Winn Worawuttichai, Founder & CEO of BOTNOI Group, talked about the issue and shared the case studies that each of them encountered. This is no less useful for continuing to do business sustainably.

Mr. Thachakorn said that Sertis has a system that helps if a store has many branches. It can make it possible to order products without relying on humans. Having customers using this system from Sertis has helped increase sales while reducing costs.
Dr. Wynn shared a case study he had encountered. The abbreviation of AI is "A" for Automation or the same repetition found in large organizations. What BOTNOI believes in is that we can teach AI to do the same repetitive things instead of humans, such as using AI to answer customer questions. In any case, AI helps create a lot of business opportunities.
Inside is the work of a data scientist who can be used, for example, if a phone company has a problem with customers moving camps, the camp can use Inside as a lead to predict who is eligible to move the camp and then use the information for marketing. To make customers want to stay with more benefits.

There are many limitations to requesting data from other organizations. Even asking for information from within the organization itself takes a long time. Dr. Wynn believes that sharing information is difficult because many people cherish information, which is still not an answer as to why.
Dr. Apiwadi said that currently, government agencies have laws that provide information that each agency can be linked to each other. The latest is medical data, but in the private sector, there is still no such thing, so it is still necessary to focus on building understanding. What should be the scope of data sharing, what are the importance or limitations, and how AI can solve this problem?
Mr. Thachakorn added that this problem may arise because of security and privacy concerns, which are considered important. Therefore, users must ensure that the information that customers or anyone else receives is safe and that the information that exceeds their needs is leaked to bad people.

Because AI is still a growing issue. It is gaining popularity, but there are still few people working in this field in Thailand. As a result, manpower may not be enough to work in the real world.
BOTNOI admits that in the past, it has never been able to retrain AI employees to join the work, so it uses the method of creating its own people. It shows that there are people who want to work in this field, but they don't have the opportunity, especially those who have no experience.
It is difficult to recruit 500 students to 20 people, but data science can be used to select 20 candidates who can be distilled to become data scientists.
Another effective way is to mingle with students. Teaching AI in universities To attract interested students to join the event, which also received a good response.

If Thailand wants to compete with foreign countries in terms of AI, Dr. Apiwadi Piyathamrong believes that it is necessary to support workers in many fields by removing technology barriers so that they can be ready for the day when AI technology laws are open, so that they can compete strongly.
However, Developing AI may be possible without waiting for foreign countries alone. Thailand can make it an advantage if it can develop its own AI. Even ChatGPT is not very good at this.
Thachakorn added that it is very necessary for Thai people to take advantage of the local and move to the global AI that belongs to Thailand. Understanding the Thai language will be a handicap that leads to development and create good competition, which is currently classified as Tier 3 by foreign countries, which is considered relatively low, although there are still many opportunities for Thai AI.
> AI can teach people, but who teaches AI?
AI is becoming more accessible day by day. Dr. Wynn sees it as an important opportunity for Thailand to take advantage of it because everyone can interact and take advantage of ChatGPT. It helps to lighten the burden of teachers a lot and teach in the direction they want to go.
However, Dr. Wynn also noted that the AI that came to teach us is who taught the AI first, which should also be careful whether what is taught is wrong or right.
Thachakorn added that what he expects is easy access to AI. Every company has data, but not everywhere can analyze it, or there are data scientists who can analyze data and use it really well.

Dr. Apiwadi believes that organizations, especially government agencies, must answer themselves whether they want AI to use and whether the AI available in the market meets the needs of the organization. Government agencies must go back and think about what insights can be created for the people.
However, Organizations that executives Leaders who know and understand this thoroughly will be a more important handicap than other organizations in moving towards success.
Dr. Wynn believes that the most important thing that every organization must consider is to generate profits, and the CEO's job is to see how to make AI help improve profits, where AI can be used, which may start from being used to solve the same problems in the organization (Automation), just reducing costs by 30%, reducing losses, helping the organization save a lot of necessary money, and creating benefits for society.
While Thachakorn said that large organizations may be able to move forward with few obstacles, from talking to many SMEs, they feel sympathy because it is more difficult to expand in terms of using AI. Today, we are trying to find ways to help SMEs and small organizations grow strongly.
Because if you want to see the Thai business circle strong, you can't let big organizations survive alone. But it must also help small organizations move forward.
